Kimbolton Connect Charter
An employer discovery programme for degree apprenticeships.
Kimbolton Connect brings together pupils, parents, employers, Old Kimboltonians and training providers to explore and promote degree apprenticeship opportunities while developing meaningful connections between education and industry.
The programme encourages collaboration, improves understanding of apprenticeship pathways, supports career development, and creates opportunities for young people to learn from employers and professionals.

All participants commit to the principles outlined in this Charter.
Explore
We will:
- Encourage open-minded exploration of all career pathways in school, with a focus on degree apprenticeships in this programme.
- Support informed decision-making through access to high-quality information and experiences.
- Promote understanding of different industries, professions and routes into employment locally and nationally.
- Explore opportunities for pupils to develop awareness of workplace expectations and opportunities, especially through work experience.
Connect
We will:
- Foster positive relationships between pupils, employers, parents, Oks and training providers.
- Encourage collaboration that benefits both young people and employers.
- Create opportunities for meaningful engagement through events, networking, work experience and career activities.
- Build a sustainable community that supports future generations of Kimbolton pupils.

- Share knowledge, expertise and experiences that broaden horizons and raise aspirations.

- Place safeguarding at the centre of all programme activities.
- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries at all times.

- Handle personal information responsibly and in accordance with data protection requirements.
- Promote equality of opportunity and inclusion throughout the programme.
- Raise concerns promptly where safeguarding, wellbeing or conduct issues arise.
