Preferred Further Mathematics entry requirements:: Grade 8 or higher in GCSE Mathematics. Students with a Grade 7 and excellent algebraic skills may also be considered with determination and effort.

Assessment

The assessment for A Level Further Maths consists of four written papers, each testing different aspects of the course:

Paper 1 & Paper 2: Core Pure Mathematics 1 and 2

Paper 3: Further Mechanics or Further Statistics 1
