Co-curricular & holiday activities
We see pupils’ involvement in clubs and activities as a vital part of their journey towards becoming curious, confident and well‑rounded young people. These experiences bring balance to a busy school day and open up opportunities to discover new interests, stretch their abilities, and simply enjoy something different.
By joining in with others – often alongside pupils from different classes and year groups – children develop valuable social skills, broaden their friendships and grow in confidence. It also gives our staff the chance to see them shine in new contexts and understand them even more deeply.
Our programme is deliberately varied and exciting, offering everything from outdoor pursuits and sport to languages, creative writing, debating, music, drama and a wide range of other enriching options. You can view the latest booklet on offer here.
At the start of each term, pupils sign up to the clubs and activities they wish to commit to for the term ahead. A term‑long commitment gives pupils stability, helps them develop resilience, and ensures each club can run smoothly and meaningfully for all children. When pupils stay with an activity for a full term, they gain a stronger sense of routine, build confidence as they make progress, and contribute to a positive, consistent experience for the whole group.

Sports weeks
We start the annual summer holiday with two summer sports weeks for children aged 8 to 13.
These offer coaching and competitions in a variety of sports in age groups.
