Kimbolton School launched its first Future Friday Breakfast on 18 September, welcoming Falmouth University for a session exploring creative careers and the opportunities available through higher education and beyond.

Pupils heard about the value of creativity across a wide range of industries, discovering how creative skills can open doors to varied career paths. The session encouraged them to think more broadly about their interests and how these might translate into future study and employment.

Alongside exploring career opportunities, pupils gained an insight into what university life is really like. Hearing about the student experience helped bring the next stage of education into focus, giving them more to consider as they explore their options.

The Future Friday Breakfast series offers pupils an opportunity to look beyond the classroom, learn about different sectors and broaden their understanding of the pathways available to them. This opening session provided plenty of food for thought for those interested in creative subjects, as well as pupils still discovering where their strengths and ambitions might lead.
