GCSE results 2024

We are thrilled to announce outstanding 2024 GCSE results, showcasing academic excellence across a diverse array of subjects.

The talented Year 11 cohort achieved remarkable success, with: 

  • 18% of grades at 9
  • 96% of grades at 9-4
  • 55% at grades at 9-7

These results highlight the school’s commitment to nurturing academic achievement in a broad spectrum of disciplines and builds upon our recent A Level successes, reinforcing Kimbolton’s standing as a leading educational institution in Cambridgeshire and beyond.

A Level results 2024

2024 marks our best year for A*- A grades since 2012, excluding the TAG/CAG years, with an outstanding 47% of students achieving A* to A grades and 85% of students receiving their first choice place at university.

This exceptional achievement underscores the academic excellence and the supportive, family-like atmosphere that defines our school. In addition to these headline achievements:

  • 73% of students received A* to B grades
  • 91% of students received A* to C grades

This year’s A Level results also include impressive performances in key subjects:

  • English Language: 100% A* – A
  • Politics: 80% A* – A
  • Fine Art: 73% A*- A
  • EPQ: 67% A*- A
  • Maths: 63% A* – A
  • Physics: 62% A* – A
  • Further Maths: 59% A* – A
  • English Literature: 58% A* – A
  • Spanish: 50% A* – A
  • Chemistry: 50% A* – A

Leaver destinations 2024

Kimbolton’s Class of 2024 has achieved impressive university placements, with students embarking on a diverse range of courses. In addition to those heading to study Medicine and History at Cambridge and Oxford, many students have secured places on cutting-edge and future-focused degree courses.
