How to find our Prep School.
Apply for a place
To be considered for entry, please complete our registration form.
A non-refundable registration fee of £120 applies to all applications.

Assessments
All children registered for entry to Pre-School or Reception may be invited to attend a Stay and Play assessment session in our Lower Prep.
This relaxed and friendly session allows our staff to get to know each child as they join in a range of play-based activities. The informal assessments that take place during the morning help us understand each child’s early learning and social development, ensuring a smooth transition into school life at Kimbolton.
Offer and accepting your place
Offers for successful candidates are sent out shortly after the stay and play session. The deadline for accepting a place is normally two weeks after being offered a place.
A deposit is payable when you accept the place.

A warm welcome
Following the acceptance of a place, you will receive a joining pack of information from our Marketing & Admissions Manager before your start date.
This will include information on our uniform, bus service, as well as forms to complete before the start of term.
You may also like to explore our current families area, which has useful day-to-day information about school life including Kim Club (our before and after school club), sports fixtures, co-curricular activities, the Kimbolton School Parents’ Association and much more.
We can’t wait to welcome you to Kimbolton!
