Head’s welcome

Dear pupils, parents, and staff,

Welcome back!

Whether your summer was filled with adventure, relaxation, or a valiant attempt at DIY, I hope it brought you joy — and possibly even a few stories that don’t involve sunburn or lost luggage.

As we begin this new academic chapter, let’s carry forward that first-week enthusiasm — even if the uniform shoes are still a little stiff and the alarm clock felt unnecessarily aggressive on Monday morning. This term promises exciting learning, new friendships, and of course, the occasional fire drill to keep us all on our toes.

Here’s to a brilliant start to the year ahead.

Warm wishes,
Will Chuter
Headteacher

“The school grounds are buzzing once more with energy, and it’s a delight to hear the sound of pupils laughing (and the faint rustle of new timetables being double-checked). Our classrooms are gleaming, our teachers are refreshed (mostly), and even the pigeons seem unusually optimistic this year.

Whole school updates

In the Senior School, it’s been a purposeful and positive start to the term. Pupils have returned with renewed energy, settling quickly into lessons and routines. Co-curricular clubs are already well underway, with plenty of enthusiasm across sport, music, drama and academic societies. It’s also been a pleasure to welcome new pupils into the Kimbolton community — we’re looking forward to seeing all that this term brings.
