Uniform, school shop and lost property
School uniform is provided by our online supplier, Schoolblazer Ltd a local company based near Peterborough. A uniform list will be included in the pack of information that we send you prior to your child joining us.

School shop
Located in the Gatehouse, our shop is run by staff with extensive experience in kitting out pupils in nearly new uniform.
The shop:
- Sells nearly new uniform on behalf of parents at attractive prices.
- Sells minor uniform items such as socks, ties and mouthguards.
- Sells stationery including pens, folders, memory sticks, padlocks and calculators.
- Is a tuck shop for pupils at break and lunch (try to avoid 1100-1115 and 1315-1415)!
- Has a café for parents with hot and cold drinks and snacks which may be consumed in the seating area or taken away.
- Has free WiFi – ask the staff for access details.
You are welcome to use the café to wait for pupil involved in after-school activities or as a homework area for primary school-aged siblings.
Lost property
Organising themselves with the right kit on the right day is an important skill for all Kimboltonians to acquire, as are looking after it during the school day and remembering to take it home!
At approximately 1800 each night, the security staff collect all items left outdoors around the School campus and secure them in the Lost Property office, located in the Castle, to the right of the house and sports noticeboards.
Lost property is open each morning for the reclaiming of items and stores lost property for approximately three months after which most items are disposed of.
To help us, please:
- Mark all items of uniform, sports clothing, footwear, accessories, musical instruments, books files and food containers. Please help us identify owners by adding your child’s name, and not just their initials.
- Add the pupil’s name or photograph to the lock screen settings of mobile phones, iPads etc and also name the casing; also activate any tracker (eg ‘Find My…’ applications) and Settings-Privacy-Location Services set to ON.
- Add a contact to your child’s phone with the name ‘ICE’ (In Case of Emergency) and attribute your details to it.
- Ensure your child lets the Mr Gridley know if an item reported missing is subsequently found.
