Beyond the classroom in Sixth Form
Community & opportunity
Tailor your Sixth Form experience, to suit your talents, interests and plans for the future.
Be curious
Expand cognitive skills in academic-themed clubs and activities, including language clubs, Chess Club, The Enlightenment Society, our Feminist Society or Philosophy for Community Club.
Be adventurous
From playing sport to outdoor activities such as sailing, canoeing, climbing and windsurfing to the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme – adventure and exploration are encouraged at every turn.
Be creative
Spend recreational time in our popular Art Department, or tread the boards in our Drama and Technical Theatre club. Hone writing skills, as part of the Kimboltonian Magazine team, or technical design skills in KiMedia our active film-making club. And, musicians will find a whole host of opportunities in our busy Music School.
Be connected
Fourth and Fifth Formers join either our Community Service Unit or Combined Cadet Force to gain valuable organisational, teamwork, communication and leadership skills, whilst making a positive difference to our local community.
Be inspired
Discover inspiration and like-minded students in clubs and societies which span diverse interests from debating and chess, through to fundraising, coding and business trading.

Beyond the classroom
-
“Kimbolton has helped me develop not only my strengths inside the classroom but also my personal qualities through being an Ingrams Prefect and taking an active role in CCF RAF activities. My dream of working in the veterinary world has been made possible by fantastic teachers and support during my Sixth Form years.”
James, Sixth Form student
