Assessment
During A Level Spanish, you will explore diverse topics and media, developing both linguistic and analytical skills.
Assessment includes:
- Paper 1: Listening, Reading, and Translation – tests comprehension and translation abilities across a range of Spanish texts.
- Paper 2: Written Response to Works and Translation – focuses on analysis of a Spanish-language film and/or literature, as well as translation tasks.
- Paper 3: Speaking – includes a discussion on one of the course themes and an independent research project.
Practical application of the language is emphasised throughout, ensuring confidence in real-world interactions.
