Assessment

Assessment includes:
- Paper 1: factors Affecting Participation in Physical Activity and Sport – Covers anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and skill acquisition.
- Paper 2: factors Affecting Optimal Performance in Physical Activity and Sport – Includes sports psychology, the role of technology in sport, and the sociocultural impact of physical activity.
- Non-Exam Assessment (NEA): assesses practical performance in one sport, either as a player or coach, alongside a written analysis of performance.
Practical applications are integral, ensuring students gain confidence in their ability to perform and analyse.
