Assessment
Devising theatre (40%)
- Create and perform an original group piece for a live audience.
- Includes a written portfolio documenting the creative process and an evaluation of the final performance.
Performing from a text (20%)
- Perform a scripted scene, showcasing acting or design skills and interpretation.
Interpreting theatre (40%)
Written examination analysing set texts and reflecting on live theatre experiences.
Beyond the classroom
- Participate in annual whole school productions, alternating between plays and musicals.
- Take on leadership roles as a student director for the junior school show.
- Join drama clubs such as Ingrams and Third Form Drama clubs.
- Perform in the Fourth Form summer play.
