Futures at Kimbolton School
At Kimbolton School, our bespoke Careers Education Programme takes a whole-school approach, designed to empower every pupil to realise their potential and aspire confidently towards a successful and fulfilling future. We aim to foster ambition beyond the classroom, encouraging high aspirations and inspiring young people to explore a wide range of opportunities.
Our carefully planned and progressive programme combines curriculum-based and enrichment activities, helping pupils to better understand themselves, explore the world of work, and make well-informed decisions about their future. Alongside this, we offer tailored support at key stages of career learning, planning, and development to ensure each pupil receives guidance appropriate to their individual journey.
We are committed to an inclusive approach, ensuring that all learners have equal access to high-quality careers education. Our programme is aligned with the Gatsby Benchmarks and the CDI (Career Development Institute) Framework, reflecting best practice in careers guidance and guaranteeing that the information and advice provided is timely, relevant, and up to date.
Our vibrant Careers Hub, located in the QKB building, is open to all students, providing a welcoming space to access resources and explore options. We also publish a monthly Careers Bulletin for parents, pupils, staff, and governors, keeping our whole school community informed and engaged.
Individual careers appointments are available to all Senior School pupils and can be arranged via self-referral, through parents, or in consultation with a tutor.
If you are a parent, carer, or representative of an external organisation and would like to discuss our careers provision further, please feel free to contact Mrs Southern via the school telephone number or by email.
