Kimbolton teachers are inspiring, imaginative, conscientious and focused on holistic student development. Through ongoing CPD, we empower academic staff to enhance their teaching and pastoral skills.

Through an extensive co-curricular activities our teaching team delivers our trademark all-round education.

We expect teachers to be fully involved in the extra-curricular life of our school, encouraging pupils in their wider development through music, sport, drama, art, CCF, clubs, societies and trips. Sometimes these are out-of-hours, at weekends or during school holidays.

Non-teaching staff are a valued part of our team and contribute significantly to our positive school culture. We offer a range of roles, spanning part-time, full-time and term-time only.

Current vacancies

Exam Invigilator (deadline 9.00am, 20/10/2025)

We are seeking to appoint reliable and flexible individuals to join our team of Exam Invigilators. This enjoyable and rewarding role helps to ensure that all school examinations are conducted in accordance with the required regulations and that our pupils have the best possible environment in which to succeed. The position is casual, offering flexibility during busy exam periods.

Successful candidates will need to be organised, possess excellent communication skills and be able to provide a confident and reassuring presence whilst invigilating pupils sitting exams. You should be able to work effectively as part of a team and treat all students with fairness and respect. No previous invigilation experience is necessary as full training will be provided.

Head of Netball (deadline 9.00am, 31/10/2025)

With a start date of January 2026 (or sooner), we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and ambitious Head of Netball to lead our thriving netball programme.

Team sport is an extremely popular part of Kimbolton School life.  Netball is a popular sport for girls, primarily in the Spring Term (we regularly put out four Senior VIIs and 4 VIIs at U12 through to U15).  Netball competitions are also played in other terms.  This exciting post provides the successful applicant with an opportunity to implement their own vision across both the Prep and Senior Schools, and make a significant impact on pupils’ participation, enjoyment and success. 

The successful applicant will be an outstanding coach and leader, able to motivate, support and challenge pupils of all abilities, while nurturing their love of the game.
