Kimbolton teachers are inspiring, imaginative, conscientious and focused on holistic student development. Through ongoing CPD, we empower academic staff to enhance their teaching and pastoral skills.

Through an extensive co-curricular activities our teaching team delivers our trademark all-round education.

We expect teachers to be fully involved in the extra-curricular life of our school, encouraging pupils in their wider development through music, sport, drama, art, CCF, clubs, societies and trips. Sometimes these are out-of-hours, at weekends or during school holidays.

Non-teaching staff are a valued part of our team and contribute significantly to our positive school culture. We offer a range of roles, spanning part-time, full-time and term-time only.

Current opportunities

School Counsellor (deadline 9.00am, 26/08/2025)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a permanent, part-time, counsellor to support the work of our wonderful Health Centre team.  Offering a counselling service to both pupils and staff, the successful candidate will be approachable and have excellent listening skills with a manner that encourages a climate for safe and trusting relationships.

Maintenance Painter & Decorator (deadline 9.00am, 01/09/2025)

An opportunity has arisen to appoint a full-time Painter & Decorator to join our small and committed Maintenance team at Kimbolton School. The primary responsibility of the role holder is decoration, property repair and improvements to the school’s buildings, which range from the Grade I Listed Castle and Victorian Upper Prep School to the QKB2, which was completed in 2015.
