This subject develops problem-solving, analytical, and evaluative skills essential for navigating today’s complex world.
Assessment
During A Level Economics, you will explore how individuals, firms, and governments make decisions that shape the economy. Topics include microeconomics, macroeconomics, and global economic trends.
Assessment is through three written exams:
- Paper 1: Markets and market failure, focusing on microeconomics.
- Paper 2: National and international economy, covering macroeconomics.
- Paper 3: Synoptic paper assessing all areas through real-world case studies and data response questions.
