Languages Afternoon at Kimbolton School

The Languages Department at Kimbolton School is looking for two OKs with any language experience. You will take part in a carousel of activities for 3rd and 4th Form students where we want to inspire our current students to see the value of studying languages at GCSE, A level and beyond!
Looking for alumni to specifically share:
-What you did at school related to languages
-What you liked about language learning at the school level and beyond
-What your path has been like since school
-How language learning/studying has helped you get to where you are
-How language has enriched your life and/or work

Careers Fair & OK Networking Event

Kimbolton School’s Careers Lead Becky Southern has developed a full schedule of events for the 2025-2026 academic year, including the Careers Fair for current students, immediately followed by a private OK Networking Event.
We hope to connect the wealth of knowledge and connections held by Old Kimboltonians with current students.

Save the date to play for or cheer on the OKs as they take on Kimbolton School’s 1st Vll Netball and Kimbolton School’s 1st Xl Boys Hockey.
With enough interest, alumni may also take on the school’s 2nd teams on the same date!

Kimbolton Singers Choral Concert

Alumni are welcome to participate in the school’s annual choral concert, to be held in Lewis Hall.
For those interested in taking part in the School’s annual choral concert, this choir will be made of adults including parents, staff, Old Kimboltonians, and members of the wider Kimbolton community. They’ll join forces with the Kimbolton School Choir and the Kimbolton Prep School Chamber Choir, all accompanied by a professional orchestra for an annual concert which has always proved to be such an enjoyable occasion for all involved.
The concert this year will be a performance of three of Handel’s great anthems: Dixit Dominus, Nisi Dominus and the wedding anthem Sing unto God.
Rehearsals are relaxed and purposeful, and take place each Friday evening in the Spring Term in the Music School Rehearsal Room. The ability to read music and/or some experience of choral singing would be an advantage, although neither is necessarily a requirement.
If you would like to join the choir, Kimbolton School’s Director of Music, David Gibbs, invites you to register by clicking on the link below the Rehearsal Schedule. Once you have submitted the electronic form, you will be provided with payment links for the subscription of £25, which can be made by either debit or credit card. Alternatively, having registered your interest using the form below, payment can be made in cash or by cheque at the first rehearsal. The subscription contributes to the cost of the professional orchestra and the hire of the music.
Rehearsal Schedule
Friday evening rehearsals in the Music School Rehearsal Room will take place on the following dates between 7.30 pm and 9.00 pm:
9, 16, 23 and 30 January
6, 13 and 27 February (no rehearsal on the 20th because of the half term holiday)
6, 13 and 20 March
The rehearsal on Friday 20 March will be an extended rehearsal with the School Choir in the Lewis Hall from 7.00 pm to 9.30 pm.
The final rehearsal will be on Sunday 22 March between 1.45 pm and 4.15 pm (refreshments will be provided) in the Lewis Hall, followed by the concert at 7.30 pm.
