Kimbolton School is delighted to announce that it has won the Community Business of the Year award at the SME Cambridgeshire Business Awards 2026.
The award recognises organisations that demonstrate outstanding commitment to their local communities through meaningful engagement, collaboration and social impact. The win reflects Kimbolton School’s long-standing dedication to outreach, partnership and widening educational opportunities beyond the school gates.
The prestigious SME Cambridgeshire Business Awards celebrate excellence and achievement across organisations throughout the county, with winners selected by an independent panel of judges. The awards ceremony took place on 2 June at the Delta Hotels by Marriott, Huntingdon.
Kimbolton School was recognised for its extensive community engagement programme, including its highly regarded Masterclasses, educational outreach initiatives and partnerships that support children, families and organisations across the region. Since their launch in 2005, the School’s Masterclasses have inspired thousands of young people and now attract around 300 children each year.

The award follows a series of recent recognitions for the School’s community and outreach work, highlighting the impact that Kimbolton continues to make both locally and further afield.
