Kimbolton School Year 6 Play ‘Olivia’

We recently presented our Year 6 play, ‘Olivia’, which took place on the 27 and 28 June. This enchanting musical, inspired by Charles Dickens’ iconic characters and Victorian London, were two delightful evenings of entertainment for all.

‘Olivia’ told the captivating story of a young orphan girl, Olivia, who escaped the harsh conditions of the orphanage and embarked on a journey to find her place in the world. Along the way, she encountered a host of colourful characters, including the kind-hearted Dicken, the sinister Mrs Murdstone, and the legendary detective Sherlock Holmes.

The production featured a live band of our Senior School musicians conducted by Director of Music Mr Gibbs and the impressive level of singing and acting by all of our Year 6 actors involved was a testament to their dedication and hard work.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved in bringing ‘Olivia’ to life. Their efforts ensured a production of the highest quality, showcasing the incredible talent within our school community. Those who witnessed the magic of ‘Olivia’ at Kimbolton School were truly delighted.
