Designed to challenge and inspire, the UK Chemistry Olympiad offers pupils a unique opportunity to push themselves beyond the classroom and explore the subject at a deeper level. The competition encourages budding chemists to develop critical problem-solving skills, think creatively, and apply their knowledge to unfamiliar, real-world scenarios.
Open to secondary schools and colleges across the British Isles, the Olympiad is aimed at pupils in their final year before higher education. Known for its rigorous and demanding questions, it is a competition that truly tests both ability and perseverance.
This year, over 17,000 pupils took part nationally, with only the top 8.5% achieving the prestigious Gold Award. We are delighted to celebrate the success of the following Kimbolton pupils:
Gold Awards (Top 8.5% nationally):
- Naiya F.
