From Wimbledon to the Eiffel Tower: Old Kimboltonian completes Run2Paris challenge

This past spring, the Old Kimboltonian Association was a proud sponsor of Molly G. (OK’21) as she successfully completed the Run2Paris Challenge – a four-day, ultra-distance team relay from Wimbledon to the Eiffel Tower.

Each day, Molly ran a half marathon across varied and often unfamiliar terrain, with early starts, late finishes, little sleep, and tough conditions adding to the intensity. She took part to raise money for two charities close to her heart: Parkinson’s UK and SSAFA, the Armed Forces Charity.

Reflecting on the experience, Molly said:

“This was one of the most intense and rewarding experiences of my life. It challenged me physically, mentally, and emotionally, but it also brought moments of immense joy, connection, and accomplishment.”

The OKA’s support helped Molly raise valuable funds for her chosen causes and contribute towards her team’s overall target.

Congratulations Molly on such a great achievement.
