Congratulations to Edward, Arnav, Henry, Alex, Callum, Andrey and Monty who recently achieved a Gold Award in the UK Maths Trust Intermediate Maths Challenge, and thus qualify for one of Mr Jessup’s mechanical pencils!
Further congratulations to Edward and Monty who qualify for the follow on round, and to Alex who qualified for the British Maths Olympiad which takes place on the 21st March
The Intermediate Maths Challenge is a 60 minute, 25 multiple choice Challenge. It encourages mathematical reasoning, precision of thought and fluency to make students think. The problems on the Intermediate Maths Challenge are designed to make students think, most are accessible yet still challenge those with more experience.
