New episodes of Kimpolcast released

Two new episodes of Kimpolcast, Kimbolton School’s student-led politics podcast, are now available to listen to, featuring both a high-profile guest interview and discussion of major global political developments.

Episode 6 sees members of the Manchester Group interview Mark Sedwill, Lord Sedwill, a crossbench peer and former UK Cabinet Secretary and National Security Adviser. During his distinguished career in government and diplomacy, Lord Sedwill served as the UK’s most senior civil servant and advised the Prime Minister on national security matters.
In this episode, students explore his experiences at the heart of government, gaining insight into leadership, diplomacy and the challenges of decision-making at the highest levels of public service.

Episode 7 features Charlie, Alex and Jude discussing several major political stories currently shaping the global landscape. Topics include the recent by-election, developments surrounding the US Supreme Court and Donald Trump, the role of the House of Lords in debates over assisted dying legislation, and ongoing tensions involving Iran.

Kimpolcast continues to provide an engaging platform for Kimbolton students to analyse current affairs, interview influential figures and develop their understanding of politics and international relations.
