Kimbolton launches ‘Kimpolcast’: new Politics Department podcast

Kimbolton School’s Politics Department has launched Kimpolcast, a new pupil-led podcast exploring major national and international events through thoughtful discussion and debate.

The series gives Sixth Form Politics pupils the opportunity to analyse current affairs, sharpen their communication skills and bring classroom learning to life for a wider audience. Each episode is researched, recorded and presented by pupils, with guidance from Head of Politics, Richard Barnes.

Episode 1 looks at Labour’s recent political ‘relaunch’ and the US Government shutdown, offering students’ perspectives on what the developments might mean for both countries. Episode 2 – now also available – focuses on the Conservative Party Conference and the emerging peace deal in Gaza.

The podcast will run throughout the academic year, with new episodes released regularly. All episodes are accessible to parents, pupils and the public via the links provided in the Senior School newsletter and on our website.
