Kimbolton pupils recently visited Oundle Sports Centre to compete in the 2025 Trophy Gala against Laxton Junior School and Bishops Stortford College. This event was a unique opportunity for many of our swimmers to race in a 50m pool for the first time and the atmosphere was electric.
Although our Year 5 pupils were on a school trip and couldn’t join us, the small but mighty team that represented Kimbolton excelled. Four swimmers earned well deserved medals:
- April M.: U11s 50m Backstroke – Silver
- Rou S.: U11s 50m Fly – Bronze
- Georgie C.: U10s 50m Backstroke – Bronze (swimming up an age group)
- Henry A.: U10s Front Crawl – Gold, U10s Breaststroke – Silver, U11s 50m Fly – Bronze (also swimming up an age group).
This gala marked the final swim of the term and we couldn’t be prouder of our swimmers!
