The Charities Committee are proud to share that a total of £3,620 has been raised so far this term in support of a wide range of local, national and international causes.
Throughout the autumn term, pupils and staff have come together to support a variety of fundraising activities. Alongside a non-uniform day, pupils baked cakes in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support and the South African charity Inspire. The school also ‘wore it pink’ for Breast Cancer Now during cross country, while Pudsey’s Pampering Parlour for Children in Need saw faces, hair and nails painted across the school community. Fundraising continued with the sale of false moustaches for Movember, before the term concluded with a festive Christmas Jumper Day in support of Save the Children.
The Charities Committee would like to thank all pupils and staff who have supported these initiatives so generously throughout the term.
