Year 3 had a fantastic time during Ancient Civilisations Day, immersing themselves in the fascinating worlds of Ancient Greece and Egypt. The children enjoyed a range of creative and hands-on activities, including Greek tile making, designing traditional Greek pottery patterns and creating their own Egyptian cartouches. They also took part in a fun-filled ‘Wrap a Mummy Challenge!’ and tested their athletic skills in a series of Olympic Games events. To end the day, pupils relaxed with story time, listening to and sharing tales from Ancient Greek mythology. It was a wonderful day of learning, creativity and exploration that brought history to life.
