Pupils in Kim House recently took part in the much-anticipated Mr Whiteley chilli cook-off, a highlight of the boarding calendar that brings together pupils for an evening of cooking, camaraderie and friendly competition.
As one of the school’s boarding houses, Kim House prides itself on its strong sense of community, and events like the chilli cook-off provide a great opportunity for boarders to spend time together outside of the classroom while showcasing their culinary talents.
This year’s competition was closely fought, with a number of teams producing impressive chilli dishes. After careful deliberation from the judges, Jerry and Tristan were crowned this year’s champions, narrowly pipping last year’s winners Albert and Henry, who mounted a strong defence of their title.

The evening was enjoyed by all involved and once again demonstrated the spirit and enthusiasm that make Kim House such a vibrant boarding community.
Congratulations to everyone who took part, and especially to this year’s winners, Jerry and Tristan.
