Kimbolton Equestrian celebrates a run of outstanding competition results

The Kimbolton Equestrian team has continued to enjoy an exceptional period of competition success over the last few weeks, with strong performances across multiple venues securing podium finishes and Championship qualification.

In December, the team returned to the Bloxham School Eventer Series, achieving 3rd places in the 90cm team and 1m team competitions. The successful teams were made up of Flora K., Megan R., Lois Z., Tilly R. and Emmy B., whose consistent riding and teamwork delivered excellent results.

The team then travelled to Eland Lodge for what proved to be their strongest outing of the season so far. Kimbolton riders secured:

  • 1st place in both the 90cm and 1m team competitions
  • 2nd place individually in the 80cm for Honor C.
  • 3rd place individually in the 90cm and a win in the 1m for Tilly R.
  • 4th place in the 1m for Emmy B.

These results mean that these riders and teams have now qualified for the Championships at Hickstead in May, a fantastic achievement for the team.

Most recently, the team competed in a showjumping fixture at Bury Farm, where Livi B. and Hattie M., alongside Flora K., finished 3rd in the 90cm team competition, with Livi B., the team captain, also taking 3rd place individually.

The school extends its sincere thanks to the parents and supporters who have accompanied the team throughout the season, often in challenging winter conditions, to ensure horses and riders are able to compete and succeed.

Congratulations to all riders involved.
