Upper Prep Prize Giving at Kimbolton School

On Friday, 24th May, Kimbolton School hosted its Upper Prep Prize Giving ceremony in the elegant Marquee on the Mall at our Senior School. The event was attended by Mr Will Chuter, Headmaster at Kimbolton School, who attended as the Guest of Honour and delivered a thought-provoking speech thanking Mr Foley, Headmaster of our Prep who is leaving us at the end of this academic year.

The ceremony commenced with an inspiring address by Mr J.P. Foley, Headmaster at our Preparatory School. He spoke on the concept of ‘the grey child,’ emphasising the importance of recognising and nurturing every student’s unique qualities. He passionately conveyed that his success as an educator would be realised if every child left the school vibrant and full of colour, reflecting their individual growth and achievements. Mr Foley also took time to thank everyone who had supported him during his headship, including Mr Ollie Stokes, Prepatory School Deputy Head, and Ms Sharon Palmer, Headmaster’s secretary.

Throughout the proceedings, attendees were treated to a splendid array of performances by our talented Prep musicians. Highlights included the captivating performances of the Senior Choir and Chamber Choir, as well as individual showcases by Alex B., Chloe H., Isabella R., and Sarah Y. The event also featured heartfelt reflections by our Preparatory School House Captains: Anais B., Jackson B., Sam D., Finn J., Isabella M., Leon M., Anabel M., and Daisy P.
