An evening filled with music, energy and unforgettable performances set the stage for this year’s spectacular Senior House Music Competition finals!
The stage welcomed some incredible soloists, amazing ensemble performances and powerful House choirs. Each performance brought something unique, showcasing not only musical skill but also confidence, teamwork, and dedication. The standard was remarkably high, making the competition tougher than ever — and even more exciting to watch. With plenty of support, celebration, and school spirit throughout the evening, it was a true reminder of just how much talent we have within our Kimbolton community.

We were delighted to welcome Ben Watson as the adjudicator for the night. He now teaches at Cokethorpe School in Oxfordshire and is a talented musician himself who regularly performs with local orchestras and ensembles. He thoroughly praised all our performers, along with offering some helpful tips to further refine their skills and elevate future performances.

A huge congratulations to all of our trophy winners for their incredibly well-deserved success. Special recognition goes to Gibbards House for their outstanding ensemble performance, which earned them a fantastic and well-fought victory. Equally impressive were Owens House, who once again demonstrated their consistency and hard work by taking the crown for Best House Song for the third year running.
Well done to all involved — your talent, enthusiasm and house pride made the evening such a success.
