As we break for half term, we are excited to share an incredible charity challenge designed by Kimbolton Pupils, Henry and James. On Sunday, 25 May, the boys will embark on an “epic challenge” they’ve dubbed the Fenathlon – a multi-stage adventure aimed at raising vital funds for three fantastic environmental charities.
The challenge will see Henry and James cycling 14 miles from the Wildlife Trust’s Woodwalton Fen reserve to St Ives, followed by a 7-mile kayaking journey to the RSPB Ouse Fen. Finally, they will complete the day with a 15-mile walk to the National Trust’s Wicken Fen. The entire challenge, which includes cycling, kayaking, and walking, is expected to take around 13.5 hours, starting bright and early at 6am.
So far, the boys have raised over £3000, and all funds will be split equally between the Wildlife Trust BCN, RSPB, and National Trust, three organisations committed to protecting and enhancing our natural environment.
