Kimbolton School proudly celebrated the graduation of our inaugural cohort of Kim Coaches, a group of Lower Sixth pupils who have completed a bespoke leadership and peer-coaching training programme designed to strengthen pupil wellbeing and community culture.
The Kim Coaching initiative equips Sixth Form pupils with the skills of active listening, emotional intelligence, empathy, and responsible leadership. Through a structured training programme, pupils have developed the confidence to support younger peers, helping them to reflect, problem-solve and grow in resilience.
The celebration event was also attended by Pastoral staff and the Headmaster, who presented certificates to each coach in recognition of their commitment and leadership. Kim Coaching represents a modern model of leadership. Their training focused on communication, ethical responsibility, and knowing when to listen, empower and appropriately refer concerns. In embodying our school motto, Perseverantia vincit — perseverance conquers — these pupils have demonstrated dedication, compassion and integrity throughout the programme. They are now raring to go and work across the school helping others and will be closely matched to students by the House teams.

We were incredibly proud of this pioneering group. Their willingness to step forward, serve others and shape the culture of our school community reflects the very best of Kimbolton. The pastoral teams look forward to seeing the positive impact of Kim Coaching continue to grow across the school in the months and years ahead.
