In late September, our First Form (Year 7) pupils enjoyed a brilliant team building residential trip to Mount Cook in the Peak District. The three day adventure provided countless opportunities for pupils to push their boundaries, build friendships and embrace new challenges together.
Courage was on full display during the Via Ferrata and High Ropes, where pupils encouraged one another to tackle each obstacle with determination. Superb teamwork shone through as groups supported and motivated each other, ensuring that everyone had the confidence to give each activity a go.
There was no shortage of endeavour during the orienteering challenge, as pupils worked hard to navigate their way to success and their curiosity came to the fore during evening puzzle games and bushcraft sessions.
Throughout the trip, pupils demonstrated fantastic attitudes and threw themselves into every activity with enthusiasm. It was particularly heartening to see the kind and thoughtful way in which they supported their peers, helping to make sure that everyone enjoyed a memorable start to their Kimbolton journey.
Mr Ben Mills, Housemaster of Ingrams, said:
“It was a fantastic few days away and the pupils should be proud of the way they approached every challenge. Their teamwork, kindness and energy made it a brilliant experience for all.”
