A team of swimmers — Tessa Q., Emily Q., Charlotte J. and Abi D. — recently represented the school at the prestigious Bath & Otter Cup held at the London Aquatics Centre. The competition brought together school teams from across the country, creating a highly competitive and exciting environment.
The team first competed in the freestyle relay, where they delivered a strong performance and finished an impressive 12th overall.
The girls then took part in the medley relay — the same event in which they competed at the ESAA Final last November. Following a terrific heat swim, the team recorded a time of 2:07.71, securing their place in the final.
Highly motivated and showing fantastic team spirit, the swimmers produced an outstanding performance in the final. Their effort earned them a Silver medal along with an excellent team personal best time of 2:05.82.
PE teacher Mrs Gilbert said:
“It has been a privilege to watch these swimmers develop over the past few years and the school is incredibly proud of their dedication, teamwork and achievements.”
