Senior girls make a splash at national relay finals

Kimbolton’s Senior girls’ medley relay team represented the school superbly at the English Schools’ Swimming Association finals on Saturday, 15 November, held at Sandwell Pool in Birmingham.

Having qualified in 13th position, a significant improvement on last year’s 24th, the team went on to maintain their place among some of the strongest competition in the country.

The girls competed in the 4x50m medley relay, with Abi D. leading off on the backstroke, followed by Charlotte J. on breaststroke, Tessa Q. on butterfly and Emily Q. completing the final front crawl leg. Each swimmer delivered an excellent performance, showing determination and teamwork throughout.

The team were excellent ambassadors for Kimbolton, demonstrating composure, effort and school spirit in abundance.

The swimmers now look ahead to the next round of the Thursday League at Worksop on 4 December. The school wishes them the very best of luck.
