Kimbolton pupil Joshua S. in Year 9 (Third Form) delivered an outstanding performance at the Eastern AA Indoor Championships held at Lee Valley in London, winning the gold medal in the Under-15 boys’ 800m and becoming the new Eastern Area champion.

Joshua ran an excellent race against a strong field of athletes, showing great determination and composure to secure the victory. His impressive performance was made even more special as he also recorded a new personal best time in the event.

The achievement marks a significant milestone for Joshua, who has shown tremendous commitment to his training and development as an athlete. After facing a challenging year affected by injuries, his determination and hard work has clearly paid off.
