I’m very excited to have been selected to join this year’s ITCA GBR East Regional Performance Squad. It’s a fantastic opportunity to train with some of the best Topper sailors in the region throughout the winter at various sailing clubs across the East, coached by top-level instructors.

Joining the squad requires commitment as there are regular weekend training sessions, but I’m looking forward to the challenge and further developing my racing skills for future regional and national regattas and championships.

Each sailing club offers something different, for example, I recently competed at Royal Harwich Yacht Club, racing in a fleet of 30 boats. It was an thrilling and memorable experience as it was alongside cargo ships passing through the estuary!
