This milestone not only reflects Cayden’s hard work and commitment but also marks an exciting moment in the school’s sporting history.

The ISFA U13 Festival saw the Midlands team secure impressive victories, with Cayden playing a key role in their success. The Midlands team won four of their matches—against South Central, Yorkshire / NE, Herts / Essex, and North-West. This placed the Midlands among the strongest regions at the festival.

One of Cayden’s standout moments came in a dominant 4-1 win against Yorkshire / NE, where he scored a goal, showcasing his skill and composure on the pitch. Coaches and spectators were impressed by his leadership and performance, particularly during the afternoon matches on Tuesday, where the Midlands secured two more wins.

Cayden’s achievement is a significant moment not only for him but also for Kimbolton School. As the first pupil from Kimbolton to represent the Midlands at the ISFA festival, this is a proud moment for the school, demonstrating Kimbolton’s growing reputation for sporting excellence.

Reflecting on his experience, Cayden commented, “I thoroughly enjoyed playing for the Midlands at the ISFA festival. We had a good team with academy players and it was great to challenge myself against some quality players in the other teams.”

Kimbolton School’s Director of Sport, Creag Lawrence, said, “I’m so proud of Cayden and his performance at the ISFA Festival. His dedication and leadership are exactly what we aim to nurture at Kimbolton. This is a wonderful achievement for Cayden and we’re excited to see what lies ahead for him in his sporting journey.”

The next stage of the ISFA selection process offers exciting opportunities for Cayden. His performance at the festival, along with his leadership on the field, has equipped him for potential future opportunities. His ability to adapt and contribute to the team will stand him in good stead moving forward.

His success also reflects the strong support from his coaches and family, as well as the encouraging environment at Kimbolton School. The school community is proud of Cayden’s achievement, which serves as an inspiration for others to pursue their own goals.
