Our boarding community has enjoyed an action-packed and heart-warming start to the Autumn Term, with a wonderfully varied programme of activities designed to help pupils relax, bond and feel at home.
From competitive strikes at the bowling alley to cosy evenings of raclette, pizza and s’mores, our boarders have had no shortage of fun. A visit to Johnson’s of Old Hurst proved a highlight, giving pupils the chance to meet the famous crocodiles and explore the farm’s unique collection of animals.

Creativity has also flourished this term. Our budding chefs rose to the challenge during a MasterChef-style cooking event, producing inventive dishes and showing impressive teamwork. Pupils also came together to celebrate the Moon Festival, enjoying the opportunity to share traditions, learn from one another and strengthen the sense of connection within our diverse boarding community.
There was even time for some light-hearted bee-themed crafting, adding a colourful buzz to the programme.
A huge thank you goes to our dedicated boarding staff, whose enthusiasm and care make these experiences possible. We look forward to welcoming everyone back next week and to another fantastic half term of adventures ahead.
