On Monday, Year 6 travelled back in time to the 1940s and enjoyed an activity-filled day to conclude their topic on the Second World War. Dressing up as evacuees for the occasion, pupils sang wartime classics and even put their dancing skills to the test! Pupils also got the chance to look at a range of genuine wartime artefacts alongside using their mathematics skills to create their own army. We even experienced a special wartime menu at lunchtime! I would like to thank all children and parents for their efforts with the fantastic costumes and for fully immersing themselves in the experience.
